Privacy Policy

AskAhead is operated by Lopez Digital LLC. This policy covers AskAhead business pages, quote requests, provider previews and accounts, commercial prospecting records, and support.

Information we collect

• customer name, email, optional phone number, and the provider page used
• full service address, optional unit and access notes, requested timing, job details, selected services or packages, notes, and optional photos
• provider and prospect business/contact information, public source URLs and observation dates, service information, account status, and outreach or opt-out history
• provider logos, work photos, linked-material authorization, authority confirmations, private-preview revisions, and approval/change history
• account authentication identifiers, email-verification status, subscription state, transaction references, terms acceptance versions, timestamps, and privacy-protective hashes of limited network/device signals
• support messages, deletion/correction requests, and safety or rights reports
• essential security and operational information such as request timestamps, rate-limit keys, delivery results, and error logs

How we use information

• build and operate provider pages and private previews
• save, route, and notify providers about quote requests; let providers respond; and show private request status
• authenticate accounts, process provider subscriptions, record consent, prevent fraud and abuse, and protect the service
• provide support, correct or delete data, investigate incidents, enforce terms, and meet legal obligations
• maintain a sourced prospect ledger, prevent repeated outreach, and honor opt-outs before any approved commercial send
• improve AskAhead using operational feedback; the current product-analytics adapter is disabled and does not send usage events to a third party

Who receives information

The selected provider receives the customer’s submitted request and contact details so it can evaluate and respond. Quote information is not sold, and a request is not permission for unrelated provider marketing.

AskAhead uses service providers only as needed to operate the product: Clerk for authentication, Stripe for provider billing and tax calculation, Resend for email delivery, Railway and PostgreSQL for application/database hosting, and Cloudinary for private image storage and processing. These services process information under their own terms and privacy commitments.

Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect people or rights, investigate fraud or security, or complete a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

Cookies and account authentication

AskAhead and Clerk use necessary cookies or similar storage to keep provider/admin sessions secure, complete sign-in, prevent abuse, and preserve limited form progress. AskAhead does not currently use advertising cookies or sell data for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Photos and preview materials

Quote photos are stored privately with Cloudinary and are available only to the selected provider and AskAhead admins. Submitted quote photos are scheduled for deletion after 60 days; unattached quote uploads after 24 hours.

Private provider-preview uploads are available only to AskAhead admins while the preview is prepared. Setup copies are scheduled for deletion after 180 days; unattached preview uploads after 12 hours. Published provider media remains while the provider page is active or until removed.

Retention

• customer quote contact and job details: normally 12 months after submission
• quote and preview photos: the shorter periods described above
• provider account/profile data: while active and normally up to 30 days after termination, except retained records below
• subscription, tax, terms/consent, fraud, and dispute records: up to seven years when reasonably needed
• support records: normally up to two years
• commercial prospect source, message, and delivery records: normally up to two years
• commercial opt-out/suppression records: retained indefinitely unless the business affirmatively opts back in
• security and operational logs: normally up to 12 months

Specific information may be kept longer or deleted sooner when required for law, safety, fraud prevention, backup rotation, an active dispute, or a verified request.

Children

AskAhead is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information. Contact AskAhead if you believe a child submitted information so it can be reviewed and removed.

Your choices and requests

Customers, providers, and prospects may request access, correction, deletion, outreach opt-out, or help with content rights. AskAhead will verify the request and explain any information that must be retained for billing, legal, fraud, security, or backup reasons.

Policy changes

AskAhead will update the version and effective date before materially changing these practices. When appropriate, account holders will receive notice or be asked to accept updated terms.
